Cultural life in Strasbourg
Strasbourg’s cultural life is rich and easy to access. Theaters, opera houses, cinemas, the Museum of Modern Art and a host of smaller venues for concerts, shows and conferences are all within easy reach. Students enrolled at our institute for at least one semester benefit from the Culture Card which entitles them to discounts and preferential rates for many shows, cinemas and museums in Alsace.
Strasbourg’s cultural life includes several major festivals (Festival international de musique, Festival des Artefacts, les nuits électroniques de l’Ososphère, Musica, Jazz d’Or, etc.), numerous concert halls for all types of music (La Laiterie, Le Rhénus, Le Zénith Strasbourg, le TNS, l’Opéra, Les Taps, etc.) and many other opportunities to get out and about.
You can find the cultural agenda on the Strasbourg city website : www.strasbourg.eu and the Strasbourg Urban Community website (practical information, cultural programs, local news, etc.).
